Ginger is survived by her sister, Gail Campana Nightingale (husband Neil) her Son-in-law, Richard Thomas, Sr. in 2013 at the age of 53, and Lisa Stimets Thomas in 2019 at the age of 61. She was predeceased by their children, Richard Stimets, Jr. She married Richard (Dick) Stimets in 1955 and they enjoyed 47 years together until his death in 2002. After graduation, she thoroughly enjoyed her profession as a second-grade teacher. She graduated from Wheaton College in Norton, MA in 1955 where she served as President of her class.

Ginger graduated from Barnstable High School, Class of 1951, as Vice President of her class. She was born in Hyannis on March 12,1933 to the late Anthony J. Osterville - Virginia "Ginger" Campana Stimets passed away peacefully at her home in Osterville on March 11, 2021.
